BZ Bearing & Power is a resurrection of BZ Bearing & Power Transmission Specialists, Inc., an independent industrial parts
distributorship, originally opened in 1980 by Bob Zweig. BZ Bearing was a family owned business that successfully operated for 10 years,
grew to over $2M in annual sales and employed 14 people. In 1990, BZ Bearing was approached by Industrial Belting and Supply, Inc. (IBS) out of
Grand Rapids, Michigan, who acquired the company and established its first Illinois branch. The Illinois Branch of IBS was operated and
managed by Bob Zweig for nearly ten years until IBS eventually closed down completely in February, 1999.
In April 2010, Bob Zweig with his wife Jeanne Zweig, officially opened BZ Bearing and Power as a Woman-Business-Enterprise (WBE)
operating in Illinois and Indiana.
BZ Bearing's sales and solutions functions are primarily done by Bob Zweig and a few part-time sales representatives. Other than his
time at BZ Bearing and IBS, Bob has worked for several large and small industrial distributorships, gaining significant amounts of knowledge,
experience, and strong business relationships. Bob brings deep and creative problem solving skills to help with your business needs.
Bob has excellent Mechanical and Electrical Solutions knowledge to assist with any situation.
Bob uses his 45+ years of expertise to help his long-time, loyal customers and friends, as well as
working to grow BZ Bearing's customer base
by developing new relationships with future customers.
BZ Bearing's product lines include industry's top domestics and foreign vendors; both large and small lines. BZ Bearing lines includes

are very broad including, but
not limited to, Bearings, Power Transmission Equipment, Fluid Power, Conveyor Belts,
Sprockets, Chain, Fasteners, etc.
